About Bob Osborne

Bob Osborne is a respected Farmington, CT, law enforcement officer who has served with the Bristol Police Department since 2002. With a longstanding interest in criminal justice, he holds a degree in the subject from Tunxis Community College and is a member of Phi Kappa Sigma. Bob Osborne’s current academic focus is criminology at Central Connecticut State University near his hometown of Farmington, CT.

Mr. Osborne maintains a strong community focus and supports organizations such as Vie for the Kids and the Wounded Warrior Project. He also supports Lea's Foundation for Leukemia Research, Inc., a Hartford-based nonprofit that is working toward a cure for the disease. An active runner, he completed a Waitsfield, Vermont, marathon on his 40th birthday and has also taken part in the Marine Corps Marathon held in the District of Columbia.

A travel enthusiast, Mr. Osborne has visited locales throughout New England, from small villages to historic Boston. He has a longstanding interest in international relations and would like to visit Europe in the future.
